Manchester’s Royal Exchange Theatre is currently receiving rave reviews for their A Raisin In The Sun. Their next production is George Orwell‘s 1984. We have four pairs of
1984 tickets to give away to WOS Northwest visitors!
THE PLAY:
Hailed as an instant classic upon its publication in 1949, 1984 is now seen by many as the definitive novel of the Twentieth Century. Oldham-born actor, director and playwright Matthew Dunster – who directs his own brand new adaptation of the original Orwell novel – has recent Exchange credits which include Macbeth and his own award-winning play You Can See The Hills in The Studio (which also played to packed houses in London’s Young Vic Theatre). 1984 runs at the Royal Exchange from 24 Feb – 27 March.
HOW TO WIN:
Simply send us the answer to this question: Who is directing 1984 at the Royal Exchange? Please note that any entries without the answer will or preferred date(s) will not be drawn. Send your answer, name and preferred date(s) to glenn@whatsonstage.com with the heading 1984 comp.
Good Luck!
The winners will be notified by email.
