The hosts for this year's WhatsOnStage Awards have been announced.

Trevor Dion Nicholas, who plays the Genie in the West End production of Aladdin, will join Vikki Stone who returns this year following her first year as a host in 2017.

American actor Dion Nicholas opened in Aladdin in May 2016 after understudying the Genie in the Broadway production.

Stone has just finished playing Fleshcreep in the Lyric Hammersmith's pantomime Jack and the Beanstalk, and returns to co-host with Dion Nicholas. Stone's TV credits include Partners in Rhyme, The John Bishop Show, Uncle and Ten Pieces.

The 18th Annual WhatsOnStage Awards take place on the 25 February at the Prince of Wales Theatre and this year will feature performances from Everybody's Talking About Jamie, Tyrone Huntley (Dreamgirls, Jesus Christ Superstar), Alice Fearn (Wicked) and Janie Dee (Follies).

The concert will be directed by Russell Labey with musical supervision by Alex Parker and produced by WhatsOnStage and Stuart Piper for Cole Kitchenn.

The nominees were announced at a ceremony in London in December. The awards are the only major theatre awards in which the audience pick the winners. Tickets are still available for the public to buy and voting is open until January 31.
