Last night, the West End celebrated the second anniversary of The Devil Wears Prada at the Dominion Theatre, now starring Golden Globe winner Teri Hatcher as the incomparable Miranda Priestly.

WhatsOnStage was on hand (and glammed up!) to chat with the Lois & Clark favourite, as well as her castmates Jenna Bonner (who plays Andy), Taila Halford (Emily) and WhatsOnStage Award winner Matt Henry (Nigel), about the baton (or red stilettos, as it were) being passed from Desperate Housewives co-star Vanessa Williams, backstage banter and all things Runway.

So, please don’t move at a glacial pace and just click on the video below to watch all the highlights:

The West End cast also includes Dean Makowski-Clayton (as Nate), Dominic Andersen (as Christian), and Debbie Kurup (as first standby Miranda Priestly), alongside Jak Allen-Anderson, Georgia Aspinall, Anta Bah, Evonnee Bentley-Holder, Teagan Denham, Russell Dickson, Eve Drysdale, Selina Hamilton, Helen Hill, Kimberley Hoyle, Emma Johnson, Justin-Lee Jones, Mark Lamb, Ethan Le Phong, Zixi Li, Shannon Molloy, Jacob Morrish, Nay-Nay, Eddylia Osborne, David Peter Brown, Theo UK Rose, João Silva, Ellie Stevens, Maisy Stones, Kayleigh Thadani, Hannah Victoria-Bennett and Alex Woodward.

The Devil Wears Prada opened at Theatre Royal Plymouth in the summer of 2024 before transferring to the West End’s Dominion Theatre later that same year. The musical has music by Elton John, lyrics by Shaina Taub and Mark Sonnenblick, and a book by Kate Wetherhead,

Based on Lauren Weisberger’s 2003 novel and the 2006 film, the story follows aspiring journalist Andy, who takes a job at Runway magazine under its intimidating editor-in-chief Miranda Priestly.

The production features direction and choreography by Jerry Mitchell, set design by Tim Hatley, costume design by Gregg Barnes, lighting design by Bruno Poet, sound design by Gareth Owen and casting by Jill Green.

The Devil Wears Prada is produced by Kevin McCollum, David Furnish and Jamie Wilson, in co-production with Theatre Royal Plymouth and presented by special arrangement with Buena Vista Theatrical.

Hatcher is scheduled to appear until 6 February 2027.
