Award-winning comedian Tom Wrigglesworth comes to The Lowry next week, performing his critically acclaimed show direct from a sell-out run at the Edinburgh Festival.

Having witnessed a Virgin Train Manager abusing his position, Wigglesworth wrote to Richard Branson about one random act of kindness which caused good to triumph over evil.

A cross between Sideshow Bob and Mark Thomas, join Tom as he recounts his hilarious and heartwarming true story involving the world’s biggest jobsworth, his fellow passengers and a brown paper bag from the onboard canteen.

This inventive stand-up comic from Sheffield won the comedy newcomer award So You Think You’re Funny? at the 2003 Edinburgh Fringe. In 2009 he was nominated for the Edinburgh Comedy Award and has recently presented Radio 7’s Comedy Club.

Tom Wrigglesworth’s Open Return Letter To Richard Branson is at the Lowry on 11 Feb.
