Myra DuBois will join the West End production of Titanique at the Criterion Theatre.

Written by Tye Blue, Marla Mindelle and Constantine Rousouli, Titanique premiered Off-Broadway in 2022 before transferring to the Daryl Roth Theatre later that year. The production subsequently ran in New York until June 2025 and has also been staged in Paris, Sydney, Montreal and Toronto.

The casting announcement follows the extension of William Hanson’s run in the role until 26 July. Original West End cast member Stephen Guarino will then return to the production from 28 July to 30 August.

DuBois will be playing Ruth for a six-week season from 1 September to 11 October 2026, while Titanique is currently booking until January 2027.

Commenting on the casting, DuBois said she was excited to join the production after seeing the show earlier this year and described Ruth as “the role of a lifetime”.

The current company includes Lewis Francis as The Iceberg, Rose Galbraith as Rose, Astrid Harris as Céline Dion, Freddie King as Jack, Cameron Vear as Cal, Michael Vinsen as Victor Garber/Luigi and Nikki Wheeldon as Molly Brown. AJ Lewis, Joi Lurrie and Corrine Priest appear as on-stage background vocalists, while Finton Flynn, Josh Lovell and Charlotte Soo serve as offstage understudies.

Casting for the role of Ruth from 11 October onwards will be announced at a later date.

The musical made its Broadway debut at the St James Theatre in March 2026, receiving four Tony Award nominations, including Best Musical.

The production is directed by Blue, with choreography by Ellenore Scott. Nicholas James Connell serves as music supervisor, arranger and orchestrator. Scenic design is by Gabriel Hainer Evansohn and Grace Lauchbacher for Iron Bloom Creative Production, with costume design by Alejo Vietti, lighting design by Paige Seber and sound design by Lawrence Schober. Casting is by Pearson Casting CDG and Richard Johnston.

The London production is produced by Eva Price and Michael Harrison.
