Shakespeare's Globe's A Midsummer Night's Dream casting includes Jocelyn Jee Esien as Bottom

Full cast for the upcoming show has been announced

Casting has been announced for the upcoming production of A Midsummer Night's Dream at Shakespeare's Globe.

Directed by Sean Holmes, the show will feature Jocelyn Jee Esien as Bottom. Jee Esien returns to the venue following her appearance in Dr Faustus at the Sam Wanamaker Theatre.

Joining her will be Rachel Hannah Clarke-Grey as Snug, Nadine Higgin as Quince, Jacoba Williams as Snout and Billy Seymour as Flute.

The rest of the cast includes Peter Bourke as Theseus and Oberon, Victoria Elliott as Hippolyta and Titania, Ciaran O'Brien as Demetrius, Faith Omole as Hermia, Ekow Quartey as Lysander and Amanda Wilkin as Helena.

The show opens in the Globe's main venue on 28 June and runs until 13 October, with opening night on 3 July.
