Merrily We Roll Along, Stephen Sondheim and George Firth’s funny, smart and punchy musical tells of growing up, the temptations of fame, unrequited love, and seizing the day, opens at the Dancehouse in Manchester this weekend.
Winner of the 2000 Laurence Olivier Award for Best Musical, Merrily is a memorable, tuneful and witty must-see. This amateur production is presented by arrangement with Josef Weinberger.
The Company Music Theatre have seen their productions lead to some great opportunities for their members, including Richard Southgate and Charlotte Wakefield who both went onto star in the highly acclaimed West End production of Spring Awakening.
