Kissing Sid James comedy heads to Jermyn Street

British comedy Kissing Sid James will run at the Jermyn Street Theatre from 5 September 2012 (previews from 3 September.

Fresh from a run at New York’s Brits Off Broadway season, this new production of Robert Farquhar’s comedy Kissing Sid James reunites Alan Drake (Fantastic Fear Of Everything) and Charlotte McKinney (The Diary of Tommy Crisp).

When Crystal, a sexy Croupier, is invited for a weekend get-away to a British sea-side town by stationary salesman Eddie the scene is set for a rollercoaster of emotions. They throw caution to the wind for the promise of love, but can the mismatched lovers stop their fighting, find a shred common ground and get together?

A reworked production directed by Jason Lawson (associate director, Backbeat), Kissing Sid James is produced by Hillscape Productions. It runs at the Jermyn Street Theatre until 29 September 2012.
