”The Terrible Infants” was first staged in Edinburgh in 2007
Les Enfants Terribles have announced they will stage a tenth anniversary production of The Terrible Infants at Wilton's Music Hall this autumn.
Described as "Roald Dahl-meets-Tim Burton", the show uses puppetry, live music and performance to tell a series of twisted tales by the company's artistic director Oliver Lansley and producer James Seager. The pair said they were "thrilled" to revive the project which is "so close to their hearts".
The Terrible Infants debuted in Edinburgh in 2007 before embarking on a nationwide tour. This production of the show will feature new creative material, including recorded narration by Judi Dench.
The company and the theatre have also jointly launched The Stepladder Award. Companies who are taking a piece of original writing to Edinburgh Festival Fringe can enter their production. The winning company will be offered the chance to perform their show at Wilton's this autumn, and support will be provided to mount a tour of their show. For more information, click here.
