The new musical opens at Home in Manchester before touring to Exeter and the National Theatre
Rehearsal images have been released of the National Theatre and Complicite's upcoming musical A Pacifist's Guide to the War on Cancer.
Bryony Kimmings and Brian Lobel's new production has music from Tom Parkinson and lyrics by Kimmings. It's an exploration of a life with a cancer diagnosis told through five different experiences. Kimmings' previous work has included Fake it 'til you Make it and Credible Likeable Superstar Role Model.
The cast is Naana Agyei-Ampadu, Amy Booth-Steel, Jenny Fitzpatrick, Hal Fowler, Amanda Hadingue, Francesca Mills, Golda Rosheuvel, Max Runham, Rose Shalloo, Gareth Snook, Lottie Vallis and Gary Wood.
A Pacifist's Guide to the War on Cancer runs at Home in Manchester from 20 to 25 September. It then visits Exeter Northcott from 28 September to 2 October and arrives at the National's Dorfman Theatre on 14 October and runs until 29 November.
