Starlight Express adds further tour dates including festive run

Further tour dates and venues have been revealed for the WhatsOnStage Award-winning production of Starlight Express.

The Andrew Lloyd Webber musical returned to London in June 2024 in a new staging at the Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre, directed by Luke Sheppard. The production went on to win multiple awards, including a record seven WhatsOnStage Awards.

Further UK dates have been announced on our dedicated tour page – including a month-long festive run in Manchester next winter.

The musical features music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Richard Stilgoe. Songs include “AC/DC”, “Make Up My Heart”, “Light at the End of the Tunnel” and “Starlight Express”.

This new production is directed by Sheppard, with set designs by Hatley, costume designs by Gabriella Slade, lighting designs by Howard Hudson, sound designs by Gareth Owen, new orchestrations by Matthew Brind with Lloyd Webber, and music supervision by Brind and David Andrew Wilson. Choreography is by Ashley Nottingham and Arlene Phillips is creative dramaturg for the production.
