Open-air revivals of Oklahoma! and Kinky Boots to run in summer 2027

Kilworth House Theatre has announced plans for its 2027 theatre.

The open-air theatre in Leicestershire will stage two musicals over the summer: Oklahoma! and Kinky Boots.

Rodgers & Hammerstein’s classic, which features numbers including “Oh, What a Beautiful Mornin'” and “People Will Say We’re in Love,” will run from 8 June to 11 July 2027.

After that, Kinky Boots struts onto the stage. With a book by Harvey Fierstein and music by Cyndi Lauper, the uplifting story of the partnership between Charlie Price, a shoemaker, and Lola, a drag queen, features tunes including “Everybody Say Yeah” and “Raise You Up/Just Be”. It will play from 27 July 20 29 August.

Creative team and casting are to be announced.

Tickets go on sale on 12 November 2026.
