Rehearsal images and show recordings have been released for Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, due to open at Regent's Park Open Air Theatre later this month.

Directed by Rachel Kavanaugh, the production is led by Alex Gaumond and Laura Pitt-Pulford.

Based on the 1954 MGM film of the same name, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers was first adapted for stage in 1978 with a book by Lawrence Kasha and David Landay, and new songs by Academy Award-winning Joel Hirschhorn and Al Kasha.

Recordings of songs from the production will be released by JAY Records to coincide with the opening of the play. The recordings feature cast members Alex Gaumond, Laura Pitt-Pulford and Sam O'Rourke singing songs from the musical alongside the National Symphony Orchestra.

Below is a first listen at two of the songs from the show.

Seven Brides for Seven Brothers runs from 16 July to 29 August at the Open Air Theatre. For more information or to book tickets, click here.
