The ”Wicked” star arrives in London for one show only
West End and Broadway star Shoshana Bean is to appear in a one-night only concert in London.
Bean will perform with her 18-piece big band at Cadogan Hall on 9 September to mark the release of her fourth studio album Spectrum. The album combines big band, jazz and soul and has arrangements from Grammy nominee Alan Ferber.
The album is inspired by Frank Sinatra, Aretha Franklin and Barbra Streisand and is a mix of contemporary songs, classics and new works. The concert will include special guests.
Bean's work onstage includes being the first replacement for Elphaba in Wicked and as Fanny Brice in Funny Girl on Broadway.
Her previous albums include "Shadows to Light" which debuted at number 10 on the Billboard Blues charts.
The concert is the latest in Club 11's series of shows which include Carrie Hope Fletcher, Megan Hilty and The Light Princess concert.
