Exclusive: Burlesque the Musical will embark on a major tour this summer.
The musical is based on the much-loved film starring Christina Aguilera and Cher and is written and directed by Steven Antin.
The story centres on Ali, who travels to New York in search of her mother and becomes immersed in an underground club scene. West End stars Jess Folley and Asha Parker-Wallace were nominated for WhatsOnStage Awards for their turns in the original seasons.
The tour comes after two runs in Manchester and a season in Glasgow, as well as a sold-out limited season at the Savoy Theatre.
It will open at the New Victoria Theatre in Woking on 25 July 2026, with further tour stops detailed on our dedicated guide page.
At the same time, a second production will have a sit-down stay at London’s new Arts at the Marble Arch Theatre, which we’ve covered in detail here.
Burlesque the Musical features songs by Aguilera, Sia, Diane Warren, Folley and Todrick Hall.
Aguilera serves as executive producer alongside Adam Paulden, Jason Haigh-Ellery, Antin, Clint Culpepper and In Fine Company.
Cast and creative team details are yet to be announced.
