These are a Few of My Favourite Songs, the show in which special guests choose their favourite numbers that are then performed live, is returning for a second season, running at the Soho Theatre between 20 May and 8 July.

Hosted by theatre critic Mark Shenton, the new season will feature actor Simon Russell Beale (20 May), director Jeremy Sams (27 May), composer Howard Goodall (17 June) and actress Kerry Ellis (8 July).

Taking place in the intimate setting of the Soho Theatre’s Soho Downstairs, some of the chosen songs will be performed live by West End stars Caroline Sheen (who will sing for Beale and Sams) and Emma Williams (who will sing for Goodall); Ellis will sing her own numbers. The musical directors are Ben Stock and Craig Adams.

These are a Few of My Favourite Songs is being staged to benefit The Theatrical Guild – the charity that looks after backstage and front-of-house personnel in need.
