Full casting has been announced for this year's pantomime at the Hackney Empire.

Sharon D Clarke will star as Carabosse alongside Alexia Khadime as Princess Tahlia and Gavin Spokes as Dame Nanny Nora in the new adaptation of the classic panto. Susie McKenna has created this year's pantomime, which has music from Steven Edis.

The full cast for Sleeping Beauty include Kat B (Denzil the Dragon), Tony Whittle (King Eric of the Undecided), Darren Hart (Ikoboo), Wayne Perrey (Prince Gabriel of Westminsteria), Georgia Oldman (Shimmerpop), Kiruna Stamell (Willowsnap) and Sharon Ballard (Blisstip).

In usual Hackney Empire pantomime fashion, the traditional pantomime will be brought up to date. It will be set in Hackneytopia and will feature the usual music, sparkle and comedy in the story of Princess Tahlia.

Sleeping Beauty runs at Hackney Empire from 1 December to 8 January, with previews from 26 November.
