The Donmar Warehouse is transferring its recent 20th anniversary revival of Kevin Elyot's My Night With Reg to the West End in January.

Matt Bardock, Jonathan Broadbent, Richard Cant, Julian Ovenden, Lewis Reeves and Geoffrey Streatfeild will all reprise their roles.

My Night With Reg will open on 23 January 2015 (previews from 17 January) at the Apollo Theatre, replacing Urinetown which is now closing on 10 January.

The Urinetown producers said: "Our season is ending a couple of weeks earlier than planned and we are excited to see My Night With Reg as the next resident at the Apollo Theatre."

Directed by Robert Hastie, My Night With Reg sold out at the Donmar during its eight week run earlier this year. It opened in July, shortly after Kevin Elyot's death.

Elyot's Olivier and Evening Standard Award-winning comedy is set in London's gay community
in the summer of 1985 against the backdrop of the mounting AIDS crisis and on its premiere defined
a moment in the lives of gay men.

Over 100 tickets at £25 will be available for every performance at the Apollo, with £10 Barclays Front Row seats released every Monday at 10am.
