The West End run of Stomp is to extend at the Ambassadors Theatre until 2018.

The show, which celebrates its 25th anniversary this year, has extended its booking period to 7 January 2018. Between now and then, it will celebrate 15 years in London and ten years at the Ambassadors.

Created by Luke Cresswell and Steve McNicholas, the show transforms every day objects into musical instruments and premiered in Edinburgh in 1991. In 1994, the pair went on to win the Olivier Award for Best Choreographer, and the production has toured the world playing to over 12 million people.

In 2013, the producers announced the production was the "highest grossing performance of any production in the 102-year history of the theatre."

Stomp runs at the Ambassadors Theatre until 7 January 2018.
