Acclaimed immersive theatre specialists Punchdrunk have announced their latest project – a collaboration with the National Maritime Museum in Greenwich on an exhibition aimed at children.

The show, Against Captain's Orders: A Journey into the Uncharted is being run through the company's education arm Punchdrunk Enrichment. It's written by Simon Davies, directed by Peter Higgin and designed by Livi Vaughan.

Running from 28 March to August 2015, performances will be open to children aged six to twelve years and their families.

According to press material, visitors will "become members of a real life crew and will be called on to work together to navigate their way through this highly adventurous exhibition."

It continues: "Exciting, enlightening, and, who knows, perhaps just a tiny bit dangerous, Against Captain's Orders promises a theatrical journey through the museum, the like of which has never been seen before."
