The National Theatre‘s recent adaptation of popular children’s picture book The Elephantom is transferring to the New London Theatre for a strictly limited summer season from 30 June until 6 September 2014.

Ross Collins’ book, about a little girl who is unexpectedly visited by a giant blue ghost-elephant, is adapted by NT associate Ben Power and co-directed by Finn Caldwell and Toby Olié with design by Samuel Wyer.

It will be performed at the New London in the daytime (10am, 11.30am, and 2.30pm performances), whilst the National Theatre’s production of War Horse continues its regular performance schedule.

The Elephantom recently premiered in the NT’s temporary South Bank venue, The Shed.
