Natasha J Barnes and the cast of Wasted, the new Brontë musical opening at Southwark Playhouse in September, performed songs at the show's launch last night, and we were on hand to broadcast live from Stone Nest on Charing Cross Road. If you missed it, don't stress, you can watch it back below.

Based on the lives of the famous Brontë sisters and charting the highs and lows of their various relationships, the brand new musical, told in the form of a rock documentary, has music by Christopher Ash (Showstoppers) with book and lyrics by Carl Miller (Emil and the Detectives).

Cast alongside Barnes (Funny Girl) as Charlotte, is Siobhan Athwal (Romeo and Juliet) as Emily Brontë, Molly Lynch (Sunset Boulevard) as Anne Brontë and Matthew Jacobs Morgan (Our Town) as Branwell Brontë.

The production is directed by Adam Lenson (The Rink) with set and costume design by Libby Todd, musical direction by Tamara Singer, movement direction by Natasha Harrison, lighting design by Matt Daw and sound design by Mike Thacker.
