Max Bennett and Fiona Button lead 'Tis Pity in Sam Wanamaker Playhouse

Full casting for Michael Longhurst's forthcoming revival of John Ford's 'Tis Pity She's a Whore, which opens in the candlelit Sam Wanamaker Playhouse on 28 October 2014 (previews from 23 October).
Max Bennett (Posh, King Lear) and Fiona Button (Wendy and Peter Pan) star as Giovanni and Annabella, the siblings whose doomed incestuous passion both threatens and throws into relief the incense-laden hypocrisy of the Italian court.
Other casting includes Olivier Award-winner Noma Dumezweni (A Human Being Died That Night) as Hippolita and Michael Gould (A View from the Bridge) as Friar Bonaventure.
The cast is completed by Stefano Braschi, Sam Cox, Philip Cumbus, James Garnon, Alice Haig, Dean Nolan, Jethro Skinner, Daniel Rabin, Morag Siller and Edward Peel.
'Tis Pity She's a Whore runs until 7 December 2014.
