Mark Rylance and cast celebrate opening night of Farinelli and the King

The cast of Farinelli and the King celebrated opening night yesterday evening with guests including The Kinks singer Ray Davies and Seven Brides actor Alex Gaumond in attendance.

The cast includes Mark Rylance as Philippe V, Iestyn Davies as Castrato, Sam Crane as Farinelli and Melody Grove as Isabella Farnese.

Claire van Kampen's play, which premiered in the Globe's Sam Wanamaker Playhouse in February, runs at the Duke of York's Theatre until 5 December 2015.
