Casting for the summer seasons has now been confirmed. Helen Walsh will be playing Madame Thénardier across tour dates, with Ian Hughes as Thénardier. Hans Peter Janssens joins as the Bishop of Digne with James Sillman now as Joly and Jenna Boyd as Madame.

According to the show’s recent announcements, after dates in Japan, Taiwan, China, and several other Asian countries, the show will return to Europe and extend across America. Casting for the show’s 40th anniversary year in the West End will also be confirmed in due course.

Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg’s musical, adapted from the novel by Victor Hugo, tells the tale of a man who has a rocky time after a botched attempt to nab some bread, as well as the failed revolution that he finds himself caught up in.
