The musical returns to the capital

Amber Davies will star as Elle Woods in the West End transfer of Legally Blonde The Musical.
The production, from ROYO and Curve, follows a sold-out UK and Ireland tour and will play a limited season at the London Coliseum.
Davies will reprise the role of Elle Woods following the current UK and Ireland tour. She previously originated the role of Jordan Baker in the London production of The Great Gatsby at the London Coliseum in 2025, for which she won the WhatsOnStage Award for Best Supporting Performer in a Musical.
Legally Blonde The Musical features music and lyrics by Laurence O’Keefe and Nell Benjamin, with a book by Heather Hach. It is based on Amanda Brown’s novel Legally Blonde and the 2001 film starring Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Coolidge.
The production is directed by Curve artistic director Nikolai Foster and choreographed by Leah Hill, with musical supervision and additional arrangements by Matt Spencer-Smith. The creative team also includes set designer Colin Richmond, costume designer Tom Rogers, wigs, hair and make-up designer Sam Cox, lighting designer Ben Cracknell, sound designer Adam Fisher, casting director Harry Blumenau and additional casting by Jim Carnahan.
The musical follows Elle Woods as she moves from California to Harvard Law School after her boyfriend Warner breaks up with her. She sets out to win him back, but discovers a different path while studying for her law degree.
The production will run at the London Coliseum from 22 March to 22 May 2027, with previews from 22 to 29 March. An audio-described performance will take place on 20 April, a captioned performance on 5 May and a signed performance on 11 May.
At certain performances, the role of Elle Woods will be played by an alternate performer, to be announced.
