Kids Week has extended into September this year, after beginning today.

The annual ticketing initiative offers discounts to families and kids on some of the West End's biggest shows. Historically the event takes place over August, but this year organisers are extending its run to 7 September.

During Kids Week one child aged 16 or under can go free to participating shows when accompanied by an adult paying full price. Two extra children can go for half price and there are no booking fees.

Shows participating include: The Gruffalo, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Mamma Mia!, Les Miserables and Guys and Dolls.
