The comedy returns in a new production

Full casting has been announced for the West End production of Florian Zeller’s The Truth, which begins performances at the Apollo Theatre on 9 June 2026.
Adam Morris and Roisin Rae join the previously announced Stephen Mangan, Ardal O’Hanlon, Sarah Hadland and Janie Dee in the company for the play, translated by Christopher Hampton and directed by Lindsay Posner.
The production will run for a limited 14-week season through to 12 September, with a press night set for 24 June.
The play follows Michel, who begins an affair with his best friend’s wife while trying to convince himself and those around him that honesty may not be the best policy.
Zeller’s work includes The Father and The Son, and The Truth received an Olivier Award nomination in its previous London outing. This production is being staged by Melting Pot, with Simon Friend and Hanna Osmolska producing in association with Gavin Kalin Productions and Fiery Dragons.
The creative team includes set and costume designer Lizzie Clachan, lighting designer Richard Howell, sound designer Adam Cork, assistant director Rosie Tricks, costume supervisor Joanna Coe, props supervisor Lily Mollgaard and production manager Martyn Sands.
