First look at Bristol Old Vic's all-female Medea

Images have been released offering a first look at Bristol Old Vic's all-female production of Medea, which opens this evening.

Directed by George Mann (Pink Mist), the production features a new text from Chino Odimba. who makes her main stage debut following His Name is Ishmael which ran in the Studio in 2013.

The new take on Euripides' play is set in the modern day and follows a single mother who faces losing her home and children after 18 years of marriage.

The cast includes Michelle Fox, Akiya Henry, Eleanor Jackson, Kezrena James, Stephanie Levi John and Jessica Temple.

Medea runs at Bristol Old Vic until 27 May.
