Finborough Theatre to stage Arthur Miller's final play in new season

The Finborough Theatre has announced its June to August season will include a revival of Finishing the Picture, Arthur Miller's final play.
The piece, which has only ever been performed once before anywhere in the world, is a study of a female star on a film set. It is based on Miller's relationship with Marilyn Monroe and will be directed by Phil Willmott between 12 June and 7 July.
The season continues with Robert Graves' But It Still Goes On, which has never previously been performed. But It Still Goes On will run between 10 July and 4 August as part of the theatre's The Great War 100 series. It is influenced by the comedies of Noël Coward and W Somerset Maugham and looks at gender politics and inter-generational conflict. The piece will be directed by Fidelis Morgan.
The season ends with the European premiere of Homos, or Everyone in America by Jordan Seavey. Playwright Seavey will be making his UK debut in August, when Josh Seymour directs the play, which is set in a 'post-gay' America on the brink of passing marriage equality. It originally opened in New York at the Bank Street Theater and was called "daringly frank, funny and affecting" by Charles Isherwood of the New York Times.
