”My Family: Not The Sitcom” will receive its world premiere at the theatre in May
David Baddiel is set to return to the Menier Chocolate Factory with the world premiere of his new show My Family: Not The Sitcom.
Baddiel, whose last show FAME: Not the Musical was well received by critics at the Menier in 2014, is also known for his television work with Frank Skinner and stand-up comedy.
My Family: Not The Sitcom is a celebration of the lives of Baddiel's late mother, Sarah, and dementia-ridden father, Colin and tackles memory, aging, infidelity and what we can and can't say in an over-policed moral culture.
The show will follow Florian Zeller's play The Truth which closes in May.
My Family: Not The Sitcom runs at the Menier Chocolate Factory from 17 May to 25 June.
