Close to You: Bacharach Reimagined transfers to Criterion

Kyle Riabko's acclaimed show What's it all About? Bacharach Reimagined will transfer from the Menier Chocolate Factory to the West End's Criterion Theatre later this year.

The show will be renamed Close to You: Bacharach Reimagined when it moves to the Criterion, where it replaces outgoing long-runner The 39 Steps.

The production, which is directed by Steven Hoggett, premiered in 2013 at New York Theatre Workshop, where it became the venue's longest running show.

It finishes its run at the Menier on Saturday (5 September) and will run at the Criterion from 3 October.

The score features a plethora of Bacharach hits, including "Raindrops Keep Fallin' On My Head", "Alfie", "I Say a Little Prayer", "Close to You", "The Look of Love" and "Magic Moments".

The production, which is directed by Steven Hoggett, premiered in 2013 at New York Theatre Workshop, where it became the venue's longest running show.

Riabko will reprise his performance in the West End, with futher casting still to be confirmed.
