Alan Bennett's Allelujah! to be broadcast in cinemas with NT Live

Allelujah!, Alan Bennett's most recent play, is to be broadcast with NT Live.

The play, which is set in a cradle-to-grave hospital at the edge of the Pennines, opened in July to positive reviews, including a four-star write up from WhatsOnStage.

The show is Bennett's first new work for the theatre for six years and will be broadcast in cinemas on 1 November. NT Live screens to 2500 venues across the world.

The cast includes Samuel Barnett, Sam Bond, Jacqueline Chan, Sacha Dhawan, Patricia England, Deborah Findlay, David Moorst, Jeff Rawle, Cleo Sylvestre and Gary Wood.
