The full West End cast has been confirmed for The Inheritance, which opens in the West End on 21 September.

Matthew Lopez's play, which first premiered at the Young Vic, was heralded as a modern classic by critics, with WhatsOnStage's Holly Williams saying "The Inheritance sweeps you up completely." It now transfers to the Noël Coward Theatre, where it runs until 19 January.

The ensemble cast for the show will be composed of Hugo Bolton, Robert Boulter, Andrew Burnap, Hubert Burton, John Benjamin Hickey, Paul Hilton, Samuel H Levine, Syrus Lowe, Michael Marcus, Vanessa Redgrave, Jack Riddiford (who joins the cast for the West End production), Kyle Soller and Michael Walters.

The piece is directed by Stephen Daldry with set and costumes by Bob Crowley, lighting by Jon Clark, sound by Paul Arditti and Christopher Reid, and music by Paul Englishby.
