Russell Tovey and Emily Berrington join cast of Dance Nation for opening night photos

The cast of Dance Nation celebrated opening night at the Almeida Theatre last night with celebrities including Russell Tovey and Emily Berrington.

Clare Barron's play won the Susan Smith Blackburn Prize and The Relentless Award and makes its UK debut directed by Bijan Sheibani. The piece is an exploration of youth and self-discovery where an army of competitive dancers plans to take over the world.

Brendan Cowell stars in the piece alongside Nancy Crane, Manjinder Virk, Ria Zmitrowicz, Karla Crome, Miranda Foster, Sarah Hadland, Kayla Meikle and Irfan Shamji. Choreography is from Aline David.
