As The King and I prepares to return to the West End, we sat down with director Bartlett Sher and the show's stars Kelli O'Hara and Ken Watanabe, to find out more about what we can expect.

After an award-winning run at New York's Lincoln Center, Sher's production transfers to the London Palladium from 21 June, with a cast that also features Ruthie Ann Miles, Dean John Wilson and Na-Young Jeon.

Set in 1860s Bangkok, the piece tells the story of an unexpected romance between a British schoolteacher and the King of Siam. Its classic songs include "Whistle a Happy Tune", "Getting to Know You" and "Shall We Dance".
