Applications are now open for the fourth season of From Page to Stage, a musical theatre season dedicated to showcasing new musical work.

Returning to the Tristan Bates Theatre, the season not only champions new work but also provides shows with feedback and creates new opportunities for the artists involved.

This year's programme will include a new British musical which will run for two weeks, showcases of parts of new musicals in development, rehearsed readings of three full musicals in development and a gala night to showcase individual songs from musicals.

To apply for the 2016 season applicants must have:
A 100 word synopsis of their musical
Three MP3s from their show
Three sample scenes from their show
One example of their piano/vocal sheet music

Scripts must be written and submitted in English and must not be juke box musicals.

Producer Katy Lipson said today: "From Page To Stage is proving year after year how much writing talent we have in the UK. Each year we are sent over 150 new pieces and each year we reach more and more audiences."

Submissions now open from now until 3 June 2016. For full details of how to apply, click here.
