James Graham announces writers in Wilton's Music Hall's Sketching

James Graham has announced the eight emerging writers that will be involved in Sketching, a new project at Wilton's Music Hall that opens in September.
The eight writers, who were chosen after applying online, are Aaron Douglas, Chlie Mi Lin Ewart, Alan Gordon, Adam Hughes, Ella Langley, Himanshu Ojha, Sumerah Srivastav and Naomi Westerman.
Taking inspiration from Charles Dickens' first novel Sketches by Boz, the piece will be a multi-authored play about London, all set over the course of 24 hours.
Graham said: "When we set out to create a play about London, we knew the stories we told, and the
characters created had to be as diverse as the city we were portraying. This unique process of creating a
play collaboratively with a group of emerging writers has given us the opportunity to create a narrative far more representative of the city we live in than any singular voice could do."
Further details and casting for the play are to be announced.
