A new musical inspired by the iconic TV show Friends is to run at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe this year.

Friendsical is a new parody about the show, which will run at the Assembly Rooms between 1 and 25 August.

A UK tour of the show will open on 15 July in Cheltenham, before heading to Darlington (22 to 27 July) and then to Edinburgh. It continues to tour after Edinburgh to cities including Derry, Newcastle, Kingston, Malvern, Blackpool, Chelmsford, Southampton and Croydon.

Miranda Larson's musical features original songs such as "(He's her) Lobster!", "Richard's Moustache" and "You're Over Me? When Were You Under Me?". Larson's writing credits include Tom Fletcher's Christmasaurus, The Night Pirates and SpongeBob Live. TV credits include Life Bites and Bienvenue Bienvenida Welcome.
