Carey Mulligan rehearsing for Girls & Boys at the Royal Court

The actress is starring in Dennis Kelly’s upcoming play at the Royal Court

Pictures have been released of Carey Mulligan in the Royal Court's upcoming production of Girls & Boys.

Dennis Kelly's play is being directed by Lyndsey Turner and follows a woman who meets her future partner in an airport. After an intense beginning to their relationship they settle down and have kids, until their world take a disturbing turn.

Kelly's previous work includes the book for Matilda, the TV series Utopia and The Ritual Slaughter of Gorge Mastromas, which ran at the Royal Court.

Mulligan returns to the London stage following her work in Skylight in 2014 and The Seagull which ran at the Royal Court in 2007.

Girls & Boys runs at the Royal Court from 8 Feb to 17 March.
