Despite initial concerns about the effect the Games would have on West End box offices, the outlook is now much more rosy. A recent survey by OnePoll found that 2.4 million Olympic ticketholders had already bought tickets to a concert, musical, exhibition or play, while a further 1.7 million said they hoped to take in a concert in the capital but had yet to purchase tickets.
