Big West End Walk raises over £6000 for Acting for Others

The Big West End Walk has raised more than £6,000 for theatrical charity Acting for Others.

The fourth annual event took place on Sunday 6 September, with 29 people walking a 15-mile route through London, taking in 58 West End theatres. The total exceeds the previous fundraising record, set in 2024, when more than £4,000 was raised.

The walk was led by West End Charity Football Club captain Jon-Scott Clark (Hamilton, Miss Saigon), Danny Colligan (Les Misérables, Dirty Dancing) and Jonny Phillips (Les Misérables), who launched the event in 2023.

Representatives from three of Acting for Others’ member charities – Dancers’ Career Development, The Royal Theatrical Fund and The Theatrical Guild – also took part.

West End stars and Acting for Others ambassadors Kim Ismay, Ben Stock and Harriet Thorpe joined the walk, alongside Michael Xavier.

Acting for Others provides financial and emotional support to people working in the theatre industry through its 14 member charities.
