Warwick Davis to produce Eugenius! at The Other Palace

Harry Potter and Willow star Warwick Davis is to produce a full-scale production of musical Eugenius! at the Other Palace.
Davis will co-produce alongside Kevin Wood after a concert performance at the London Palladium last summer. Davis starred in the concert staging alongside David Bedella, Amy Lennox, Summer Strallen and Marcus Brigstocke.
Book, music and lyrics for the piece are written by Ben Adams and Chris Wilkins. Ian Talbot, who was previously the artistic director of Regent's Park Open Air Theatre, will direct.
The musical tells the story of Eugene, a teenager who dreams of a distant world of heroes and villains and making a comic book movie in Hollywood.
The show will feature the voice of Brian Blessed and has an '80s inspired score including "Go Eugenius" and "Comic Book Kind of Love". Cast for the show is yet to be announced.
Eugenius! will run at The Other Palace from 30 January until 3 March with previews from 22 January.
