A concert version of the show took place at the Palladium, prior to a planned West End run next year
Guests including Cassie Compton, Eric Idle and Roxanne Pallett packed the Palladium on Wednesday evening for a gala performance of new musical, Eugenius!
A concert version of the musical, written by Ben Adams and Chris Wilkins and produced by Warwick Davis, featured a cast including David Bedella, Amy Lennox and Summer Strallen.
Harry Potter star Davis played Evil Lord Hector who takes part in an intergalactic battle with the show's unlikely hero Eugene, played by Louis Maskell.
Further casting included Gabriella Williams, Samuel Holmes and an ensemble from Arts Ed.
The production was directed by Ian Talbot and Michael Jibson, with choreography by Aaron Renfree and Nick Winston.
Davis said: "The [concert] will give the audience a chance to experience this new '80s-inspired musical before it is staged in the West End as a full production next year."
