The show was originally written as a vehicle for the '50s pop star Tommy Steele, and he starred in the film adaptation in 1967. Alfie Boe returns to the West End in a semi-staged version of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s musical. Alongside Katherine Jenkins, Boe plays Billy Bigelow, a carousel barker who attempts a robbery to provide for his partner Julie. It features the classic song "You'll Never Walk Alone" – can you think of anyone better to belt it out than Boe?

Beautiful – The Carole King Musical

Carole King wrote some of the most recognisable pop songs ever: "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow", "Up on the Roof", "Locomotion", "One Fine Day", "You've Got a Friend" and "(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman". Beautiful tells the story of the life of the singer, with Cassidy Janson taking on the lead role.
