Table 17 with Marisha Wallace, Jamael Westman and Michael Rishawn – first look at rehearsals

New rehearsal photographs have been released for the UK premiere of Douglas Lyons’ romantic comedy Table 17, which opens at Kiln Theatre this autumn.

The production, directed by 2026 Tony Award winner Zhailon Levingston (co-director of Cats: The Jellicle Ball), runs from 17 September to 24 October, with a press night on 24 September.

The newly released images feature WhatsOnStage and Olivier Award nominee Marisha Wallace as Jada, WhatsOnStage Award winner Jamael Westman as Dallas and Michael Rishawn as River/Eric.

Table 17 follows Jada and Dallas, former fiancés who meet for dinner after seven years apart. As they revisit their relationship, the pair must decide whether there is still a future for them or whether the baggage of their past is too much to overcome.

The play premiered in the US, with sold-out engagements at MCC Theater in New York and Geffen Playhouse in Los Angeles. The Kiln production is described as a new production created for its UK premiere.

The creative team includes set and costume designer Amy Jane Cook, lighting designer Matt Haskins, sound designer George Dennis, associate director Nicholai La Barrie, costume supervisor Maybelle Laye and wigs, hair and make-up supervisor Dominique Hamilton.

Table 17 runs at Kiln Theatre from 17 September to 24 October 2026, with a press night on Thursday 24 September.
