Photos have been released offering a first look at the revival of Peter Pan in rehearsals at Regent's Park Open Air Theatre, which returns to the venue after first premiering in 2015.

Timothy Sheader and Liam Steel's production, which was nominated for an Olivier Award, is based on JM Barrie's classic tale of a never-ageing boy and the world of Neverland. Sam Angell plays Peter Pan in the show, with Dennis Herdman taking on the role of the nefarious Captain Hook. The roles of Wendy, John and Michael are played by Cora Kirk, Theo Cowan and Omari Douglas.

Set during the First World War, the reimagined version of the show honours the fallen in 1915. In her review of the original production, Laura Norman said that "I won't deny that I was crying at the end".

The piece has set design by Jon Bausor, costume design by Jon Morrell, puppet design and direction by Rachael Canning, composition and sound score by Nick Powell, lighting design by Rick Fisher, sound design by Nick Lidster for Autograph, fight direction by Kate Waters, casting by Polly Jerrold and musical supervision and direction by Candida Caldicot.
