Auditions will be held across the country to find the next School of Rock
Open auditions will be held to find children to be cast in Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical School of Rock.
The musical is based on the 2003 film which tells the story of Dewey Finn, a wannabe rockstar who poses as a substitute teacher to earn some money, and forms a rock band with his class of ten year olds.
Producers will hold auditions throughout the year to find children to join the cast. The auditions will be held in Cardiff (25 March), London (23 and 25 May, and 20 and 22 November), Sheffield (10 June), Birmingham (15 July) and Liverpool (23 September).
To be considered, children must be under five feet tall and aged between eight and 12 years old. Click here for more information and to register your interest.
The musical won Best New Musical at this year's WhatsOnStage Awards, and has been nominated for Best New Musical, Outstanding Achievement in Music and Best Actor in a Musical (David Fynn) at this year's Olivier Awards.
School of Rock – The Musical is currently booking at the New London Theatre.
