Olivia Vinall to lead cast of As You Like It at Regent's Park Open Air Theatre

The production runs outdoors in July

Casting has been announced for the Regent's Park Open Air Theatre production of Shakespeare's As You Like It, which runs from 6 to 28 July.

Olivia Vinall (The Hard Problem, BBC's The Woman in White) and Edward Hogg (Romeo and Juliet) take the roles of Rosalind and Orlando, with Keziah Joseph (The Jungle Book UK tour) and Beruce Khan (Henry V) in the roles of Celia and Oliver. Danny Kirrane (Three Sisters) plays Touchstone with Maureen Beattie (Yerma) as Jaques.

The cast is completed by Amy Booth-Steel (The Light Princess), Me'sha Bryan (Caroline, Or Change), Joanne McGuinness (Our Ladies of Perpetual Succour), Jacade Simpson (The Book of Mormon), Jack Beale (Once) and Silas Wyatt-Barke (The Lorax). Also appearing are Simon Armstrong, Gary Lilburn, Kristian Phillips and John Stahl.

The production reunites director Max Webster with Noah and the Whale frontman Charlie Fink after their five-star production of The Lorax at the Old Vic. The design is by Naomi Dawson, with movement direction is by Polly Bennett, lighting design by Lee Curran, sound design by Gareth Fry, casting by Lotte Hines and musical direction and arrangements by Phil Bateman.

Regent's Park's 2018 season begins this week with the revival of Peter Pan, and will continue with a production of The Turn of the Screw and a revival of Little Shop of Horrors.
