The award-winning company, responsible for ”The Play That Goes Wrong”, return in time for Christmas
Mischief Theatre, responsible for the award-winning shows The Play That Goes Wrong, Peter Pan Goes Wrong and The Comedy About A Bank Robbery, will debut a new show in the West End this Christmas.
Mischief Movie Night, an improvised movie produced live on stage with music, directors' cuts and deleted scenes, is based entirely on audience suggestions provided at the beginning of the evening.
The show will run at the Arts Theatre for a limited season from 13 December until 27 January.
The cast includes Josh Elliot as Not Sure, Dave Hearn as Uncertain, Harry Kershaw as No Idea, Henry Lewis as Don’t Know Yet, Ellie Morris as Couldn’t Tell You, Charlie Russell as TBC, Jonathan Sayer as Who Knows and Henry Shields as Guess Who. They will be joined onstage by musicians Chris Ash and Richard Baker.
Mischief Movie Night is created by Mischief Theatre, with set designs by Nigel Hook and lighting by David Howe. Adam Meggido will act as improvisation consultant.
Celebrating their 10th anniversary next year, Mischief Theatre was formed by a group of LAMDA graduates. Their production of The Comedy About A Bank Robbery is currently running at the Criterion Theatre, while The Play That Goes Wrong runs at the Duchess Theatre and on Broadway, where it recently became the longest currently running Broadway play. The show will embark on a new UK tour next year.
